| Alright, that's nothing I didn't know/do, besides the side b bit. Not that I can imagine a meteor smash with that being too useful... |

It's actually pretty good. If someone is right about to recover and you are behind them, you can spike them right before they get to the ledge. It's not easy to pull off but it's pretty satisfying when you do, not to mention that it's an instant kill.
Also his blaster can set up juggles. _________________

So I don't know how it happened but I basically rape as Game and Watch now. I've lost one match with him out of the past like fifteen. _________________

Damn you, Cardiff. I just got around to watching Yahtzee's review and went straight here to link it only to find out that you had beaten me to it.
Maybe I should have done that on Wednesday. =\ |

Yeah yeah, thread necromancy ftw!
So, with the UK release little over a week to go (and me scurrying around eBay trying to pick up cheap gamecube controllers like a mad man) I'm busy building myself into a frenzy of hype (ready to be smashed back down after 3 days of playing, just like Mario-super-charged-strikers, wii-fit and mario party as well as whiling away far too much time on lost winds.
Anyways, I'm just letting you guys know I'll be bombing back here very often in the hope someone is kind enough to impart some wisdom and useful advice so I'll be able to turn into "that guy" and kick all my housemates asses at this game
First things first, I'm spending most of my time in work (instead of actually working, natch) trying to figure out which character I shall call my own to start with I'm thinking Kirby, but then Fox does seem too damn cool not to pick _________________ ...but the BBC news theme, sounds like some sort of apocalyptic rave.... |

Boosh! So I got it a day earlier than the general release - rushed home from work to have a quick blast with my housemates, though only 1 would join in.
We managed to vaguely reach that stage just after random button smashing to trying to figure out what just everything does. And after watching the dross that was the russia spain game I had a quick blast at a few of the single player modes (and a quick foray onto the wifi, where somehow I convincingly won a 4 player brawl best described as a button mashing "fuster cluck" )
Seems good, with a few moments I was actually laughing out loud at. Which for a computer game is quite impressive.
Though my choice of kirby as a starting character did seem a little on the cheatin side, what with his practically endless jumping to recovery _________________ ...but the BBC news theme, sounds like some sort of apocalyptic rave.... |

Kirby's a lot stronger in Brawl than in Melee.
Just wait til you unlock Game and Watch. _________________

Kirby sucked in melee.
Like, his only redeeming quality was playing on rainbow cruise.
And he was disgusting(ly good) in the original.
And I'm a huge nerd. |

| I kicked ass with Kirby in the original. I loved playing all Kirbys on Dreamland. |
