Okay, well, I went and read all of Shortpacked! from the beginning. I didn't plan on loving it, but since I can relate both to the toy-loving experience and the draconian "customer service" experience (and even the working-at-a-retail-toystore experience), this comic really spoke to me.

First off, I liked these ones (above) because even though right now I work for a credit card company, I still have to do almost this very same thing: Try and sell extra, nearly-worthless add-ons that you won't use or you'll forget about or they won't work for you. It's almost like the comic is talking about where I work.

This is something I would dearly love to do at my work, especially since a lot of the people I talk to think they deserve to borrow money from their credit cards for free and never get charged extra even though they pay back late. It would be great to say "Oh, wow, how dare we hold you to your word and charge you interest when you borrow money from us! How dare we presume to make a living off of you!"

If I had the time, I could do an entire webcomic about how agressively moronic some Transformers shows are. I was literally angry watching the first volume of Transformers: Cybertron on DVD. It's hard to believe that whoever "localized" this show weren't doing an insultingly bad job on purpose. David Willis is actually pretty nice about it, all things considered.

I have to say, this one stays with the group.
