Ich, I hated that movie. I saw it when I was about 6, and it was way to hallucination inspired.

I never really liked that song too much. It wasn't one of their better ones. |

Crazy stuff. Although obviously influenced by a lot of drugs, I think this song is one of John's more interesting works. I read a book with a ton of Lennon interviews in it (I can't for the life of me remember what it was called...), but he had a lot to say about this song in particular. I remember after being criticized for not writing "meaningful" songs after The Beatles' break-up, he said something like, "You're right, but I can't just keep writing 'I am the Walrus' over and over." And then he, you know, lied in a bed for a year or whatever.
Anyway, yeah, I dig it. |
