I've seen psychiatrists and I've seen psychologists, and I've had the meds, and nothing fixes me.
Just kills one pain, and brings 3 more up twice fold.
I'm going back to school for psychology so I can figure what the fuck is wrong with me.
I've surpressed so many emotions and feelings and secrets, and other things I can't even remember anymore, and now it's just coming back to bite me in the ass.
Robbie-boy, I'm picking myself apart because it's the only way I can figure out what's causing this mess. I've never been this introspective in my life and it's probably another reason I just feel like I'm going insane.
Cesar, I don't have panic attacks, I just get to a point where I snap for about an hour and beat the shit out of my friends punching bag. I've scared quite a few people from them just watching me go speed-punch crazy on it. my knuckles my feel like shit, but it's the only escape I get from thinking.
Everyone else, thank you for your feed back and stories. If I do crash, then I'll let you all know how that turns out.

| Cripes. If you've been prescribed meds... Makes my problems seem miniscule. All I have to worry about is going to bed. Then I just feel... Kinda empty. Like I should be doing more. |

I disagree.
Most are, but some are actually very helpful. Don't judge all psychologists from one. It took about seven tries for me to get to one that wasn't a complete waste of time.

Psychologists and psychiatrists aren't all quacks, just like clergy aren't all money-grubbing child molesters.
Yeah, there are bad apples, but don't let the ones who make the news sully your view of the profession as a whole.

Well, for one, psychologists and psychiatrists are not the same thing, considering psychiatrists have science degrees and go to medical school... Two, this statement is, well, uh... just pretty much wrong. |

I can't say I know what you're going through, but I did have some pretty shitty spots in my life. Eventually, I got over them. Hopefully you do too.

Yea. He thinks he was the one who saved me. But its already been solved.
I didnt mean to generalize shrinks in that aspect. I shouldve noted it was my opinion. Oh well mistakes happen. The reason I have such a LOW opinion of shrinks is that when I was a kid, the teacher suspected me of being efeminate(sp) in which she asked my parents to come in and talk to her, and the school shrink. What the school shrink said to me was that I was abnormal and wrong for not being "normal" and was concerned that I would "spread" it to the other childern. Long story short, my parents complained and had her transferred out. It really messed me up for awhile, but I recovered thanx to my best friend Tim (R.I.P.) From then on so I seriously have a VERY Low opinion of shrinks. To me a medical degree is no compensation for common sense. Thats my opinion.
