okay as ive brought up before, i used to work at best buy. i worked in the digital imaging department, or as we mock-enthusiastically called it, "cameras, camcorders, memory and more!" i met my best friend there, he worked (and still does work) in my department, his name is andy.

i really liked my job at best buy. cause im a total geek, and i was surrounded by total geeks, and i was getting paid for it. but there were a couple oozing lesions on the surface of my best buy experience. one of them was a manager named ryan, the other was a guy in my department named scott. which is who our story is about.

with me so far? good.

scott, when on the clock, hit on young girls. on black friday, scott didnt do what he was supposed to do for like an hour to talk to these two 15 year old girls and invite them over to his house because his pregnant fiancee was out of town.

alright so andy was leaving work with one of his coworkers yesterday, and when they walked outside they saw a cop car. andy made a joke, something like, "oh no, theyve come for me." but the coworker was like, "you know who thats here for, right?" and andy was like "...someone that works here?" and the coworker was like, "you really dont know?"

so then andy sat outside waiting for half an hour in his car, and just when he realized how pathetic it was he was waiting, the worker who was arrested came out.

and im sure youve guessed by now it was scott.

if you didnt.. god help you.

appearently hed been stealing from the department for a few months now, camcorders and really expensive lenses and a few cameras. i think the department was down about $15,000 in the two and a half months of this year. but now hes gone. this is good news squared for me, in that:

1. scott got what he deserved, finally
2. theres an opening in the department i used to work in at my old job, and my bosses still love me (i got laid off for seasonal, they wanted to keep me), and so there might be a chance i can get my awesome old job back.

yeah me too. it would rule. my best friend is gonna say something to the supervisor of our department as well as one of the head managers about it. they really liked me there so im hoping.
