Sorry guys, I guess I never made a clarifying post here on the forum.

When she came over Thursday, as things were getting hot and heavy, I stopped her and told her that I wanted us to be in a relationship. She wanted to as well, so we decided that we would be an official "couple". (I didn't want to do what we ended up doing without being in a relationship.)

Well guys, I felt it was impending.

She needs some time to really figure out things on her own. She's starting school, and with work she'll be completely busy. We've made plans to hang out and see each other on the weekends, but for a while our relationship is going to focus on getting to know each other. She is giving herself until January to figure out where she is headed, and until then she doesn't want our physical feelings to get in the way of a possible serious relationship, and more importantly, in the way of finding herself. And so, I am in a situation I feel almost too comfortable in. I am going to do everything I can to help her realize that I could be the right one for her, and until then...
