getting a b.a. at hippie liberal arts college, self designed concentration. this is my fourth semester.
what i'm doing is essentially a double major in religious studies and biochemistry.
in terms of focus on each, the former i'm focusing in on issues of conversion, history of religion, spread of religion, et cetera, with a special emphasis on orientalist kind of issues, the latter i'm focusing in on molecular genetics because that's where all the research is around here.

i'm a massive nerd.

one of my teachers has like a ph.d in something to do with religion. he's sort of crazy though.

Technically my major is general studies. I'm jus' doing it to get some of the lame pre-requisites done. Eng 102 and MAT 100 (again Sad )

I'm taking CIS 121 (I think) which is intro to C++ and so far I'm enjoying it. If I still like it by the end of the semester I'll probably take the follow-up course, and if I like that, I might major in programming or video game design or some jazz. If I went the video game route my best bet would be WPI, but they're ungodly expensive.

I go to this mid-grade art school called the Academy of Art University which is infamous for allowing anyone to attend, but I'm getting a pretty good education in the cinematic arts. I'm looking to transfer to a more exclusive, pretentious art school, the San Francisco Art Institute, for fall semester, though.

Mikesss my sister just moved to SF and we visited her mid-December.
I quite liked it, although we weren't there for very long so we didn't get to do heaps of stuff. We drove past the venue where the SF Symphony was playing and I really wanted to go. Smile

Me too!!

Christ, I'm only a sophomore in high school and even I thought that.

Don't you guys know Tertiary Education? Tertiary Entrance Examination? Tertiary Entrance Rank? Tertiary Entrance Score? You know, its above high school? It goes Primary, Secondary, Tertiary. Uh huh?

Crazy.

Yeah, Americans are confused by words describing any number larger than two. Over here we usually call it "higher" or "post-secondary" education.

Dentistry is a fascinating field if you can bring yourself to be excited about teeth.
