I'd bet everything I own they have some homing capability in the first one.
PS:
Halo 1 was fun and good.
Halo 2 was incredibly disappointing. They sacrificed the storyline for the sake of multiplayer. I HATE THAT.

Maybe I'm just wrong. But the launchers sent out enough needles to kill someone with a full overshield. That is of course, provided they all hit.
And I suppose fans of the one player game would hate that, but the multiplayer is the real draw that put halo on the map. I personally have played the halo 1 campaign for 10 minutes, stopped, and never went back. |

Yeah, I just played my friends on multiplayer yesterday (Xbox) and they are homing. |
