My friends and I are having a "bad movie night", so hit me with some suggestions! Mostly what we're looking for are movies that are so bad their funny, a la Commando.

Ah, my friends and I have bad movie parties, too. They usually involve a lot of beer, too, but... none of that for you kids.
I suggest any of the Leprechaun movies. I'd go with the first one if you're a rookie Lep watcher... the other ones might be too much for you. |

Zardoz. It is the ultimate so-bad-it's-funny movie. No, you can't borrow my copy.
Also, honorable mentions go to Santa With Muscles, all of the Thunders in Paradise and, of course, Shark Attack 3: Megalodon. _________________ Married to Terri.

or if you're looking for something slightly more mainstream, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
With Peter Frampton and the Bee-Gees.
And a very drunk Steve Martin.
And George Burns tries to sing. _________________ Come into my den let me hear you cluck

The special effects are pretty bad, but as far as old, "hard-concept" sci-fi goes, Zardoz is at least up to Planet-of-the-Apes quality.
Yes, I did get it big-screened for the campus indie film club. Yes, I did make the
poster.
I think perhaps the most tragic movie I have ever seen is Dumb and Dumber-er. Ugh. |

Haha, that's already on the screening list. My friend's bringing Leprechaun 3.\

In his underwear. In a movie that, on first watch, is virtually incomprehensible. I mean, you can make sense of it, but it's still a pretty terrible movie. And it's pretty damn funny, unintentionally. Then again, Planet of the Apes had some pretty funny moments, too.
Actually, you know what. . . I think I'll just let this image do the talking for me. _________________ Married to Terri.
