Mom had a medium stroke. Shes 73. She had it on Thursday morning. This is just killing me to no end. I know i have to be strong and stuff but I'm trying. As for my immediate family, I'm in the midst of wolves here. Distant family has been very supportive and friends also. A YOUTUBE friend sent flowers and people have been very supportive.
Mom currently just stares, and may sort of recognizes. still responds to some commands and is stronger on her right. She can look at you and sort of recognize you and she mumbles when she speaks, but she cant speak. She is at times somewhat alert, but others she is drowsy. In general, she is very distant. She still has a high BP and blood sugar but no fever. She also is anemic, and has been given blood transfusions.
She will need rehabilitation, and if she doesn’t improve she will need long term care as in a care home facility. I really dont want to put her in a care home and am looking into home care for her.
In general this is seriously scaring me but like I said I know i need to be strong and I have crying spells from time to time. I also havent been eating or sleeping regularly. basically just a piece of bread and a cracker and 2-3 hours sleep. For all those who pray, please do. For both of us.
When mom does pass (from this, or in general) I, and my brother is out of the house. My sister will kick us out and sell the house and not distribute the money between the siblings. Back along time agao when mom was healthy somewhat, she put the house in my sisters name for financial reasons temporarily, but when it came time to transfer it back, my sister refused, and it is currently in her name, so she stole the house from mom. Like I said Im in the midst of wolves and it sux. Please pray for me and keep me in your thoughts. I will keep u updated if I can.
