This is hard.
I'll submit Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine's version of Hey Ya until I can think of a real one. _________________

Something is making me want to say "Piazza, New York Catcher" (Belle & Sebastian) but it should probably be something by LCD Soundsystem or perhaps "Barely Legal" by the Strokes _________________ here comes the big ideas again, just like they did before and then,

Seriously though I think it's Blue Demon, by Che.
Someone should make all these serious answers into a compilation CD. _________________

awesome composition, great/hilarious lyrics, never gets old, bassline is rad, sung by the coolest dude, and a massive hit on top of it all. _________________

The problem with a lot of great songs is that if they hadn't gotten played out when they first became popular, it would have been impossible to ever play them out. |

hey ya is the shit, actually other songs from love below should be nominated too, i.e. prototype, happy valentines day, roses, but no other track really defines tha sound so compacted into a pop song, hey ya is so good. pity though cause I find it has gotten a little stale despite how good it is.
also lets not forget stankonia with b.o.b. which is surely up there. _________________
