True, but it is an advertisement for a pro-Israeli book. Do a little Googlin' and you won't find any actual news articles about this, just the same spam-bot post that appears in this thread.
If this story were true, it would certainly have made the news. This story is almost a month old, and I find it hard to believe that no internet news source would pick up the story. I think it's much more plausible that somebody made this story up in order to promote a book or discredit other books.
Here's a problem: Anti-Israel doesn't mean Anti-semetic. I do not support the cause or actions of the country of Israel, and the actions of Israeli leaders have nothing to do with the jewish people. I also do not support the actions of the PLO and Hamas. There are no "good guys" and "bad guys" in this conflict. It seems that most people in this country support Israel because they don't want to appear anti-semetic.
Imagine the United States decides to set up a new reservation for native Americans, and they decide to use the entire state of California. Nobody has to move, really, but California is now a reservation. Would people be happy about it? Of course not. People would be extremely pissed, not because they fucking hate those redskins, but because the government has overstepped its authority. People would murder each other in the streets... I mean, they're already doing that in L.A. on a regular basis.
Also, how many people really need encouragement in order to go get porn? |

What do you think of Obadiah Shoher's views on the Middle East conflict? One can argue, of course, that Shoher is ultra-right, but his followers are far from being a marginal group. Also, he rejects Jewish moralistic reasoning - that's alone is highly unusual for the Israeli right. And he is very influential here in Israel. So what do you think?
