I just had a conversation with Evangel about how he thinks that only Christians should celebrate Christmas. Here is his exact quote. Evangel wrote: |
And, anyone who celebrates Christmas and isn't from religions that are supposed to celebrate it is gai. |
Now, in my opinion, Christmas has evolved to be able to be celebrated by almost everyone, but I was wondering about what anybody else though about this subject. _________________

Chrismas was a pagan holiday originally anyway. Anyone should be able to celebrate any holiday they wish, I say. _________________ Come into my den let me hear you cluck

According to the japanese, Christmas is santa's birthday. And sometimes they think it's god's birthday. |

Yeah, I read about that. I agree with ITS. Obviously people who aren't Christians won't celebrate Jesus' birth on Christmas, but that shouldn't stop them from celebrating it.
Most of the "traditional Christmas" stuff like trees and lights and presents is just consumerism though, so whatever. |

It won't necessarily be Christmas-christmas if a non christian celebrates it, since it won't be celebrating the birth of jesus.
but i don't see any problems with it though. even with that. i like the genuine bit of the consumerism. i get fuzzy when there's a tree and lights and presents and it makes me happy seeing people happy. except i want to slap my little cousins sometimes. _________________

Actually, it's a whole bunch of girls with toy reindeers. They grow breasts and their reindeers come to life on christmas day. |

Christmas is open for every body. Or at least It is a holiday that everyone should be able to participate in. _________________

Well Im safe either way. If I wasnt a Christian and celebrate Christmas Evangel says that I'd be "gai" HA!!!! I'm gai anyway so there.
Seriously though, Christmas is welcome to all people who want to celebrate it, whether they are a Christian, or not. It's the radical atheists, Jews, non Christians who make a fuss about it. When I was in Pa. there was this Jewish guy who hated all the Christmas decorations, because he was Jewish and tried to ban it all. The municipality dropped the case like a hot potato, and he moved out of the area because he was evicted from his apartment. _________________ MY BARF is TASTIER than Yours!!!

Frosted Mini Wheats. I keep saying they need to be frosted all the way around, they would taste so much better that way. |
