It all started one day, long, long ago.
A highly-paid person at some big company was supposed to make something that could be easily marketed to small children... He could not think of a single thing.
Suddenly, he stood up and proclaimed, "Let's make CARDBOARD CIRCLES and sell them to stupid people!"
...And Thus, pogs were born.
Discuss.

How cool were the hot and cold Pogs? You could rub them and the image would change into something else or the same thing with something slightly different on it.

pogs actually originated as a game kids would play with milk caps, and some corporation finally capitalized on it.

That corporation is what made the actual "Pog" name, though.

My mom has a shitload of pogs. She was raised in hawaii where it all started.
When i went 7 years ago, i saw these kids playin pogs. They were all serious and shit, and they were playin for keeps. It was kida funny now that i look back on it. |

You take a pog, and then slide it off of the edge of another pog to send it flying, and try to get it into the points zone, or into a cup or on a plate, or any other target.
