If you like Asimov, Ender's Game has a high chance of being good.
I, personally, like Asimov, though his writing style is a bit hard for me to go through. Which is why I only made it to about halfway through Second Foundation before I got bored with the series.

I also just got Children of the Mind today, which I will read. But once I'm done with this, I don't have anything else on my list.

I had a friend who carried that book around just to show people the creepy/dirty parts.
There aren't actually that many creepy or dirty parts in it, so your friend is a loser.

I mean, on top of the obvious.

We aren't friends any more.

Mostly because he dropped out of the top classes.

Wow, I thought I was the only one who has heard of him. I loved The Wind Up Bird Chronicle and Kafka on the Shore. He's amazing.

What, are you joking? He's like the best-selling translated author in America. I see people reading his books on the bus more than Danielle Steel novels.

Cool that you dig him though; Kafka on the Shore is fucking amazing.

And by that card, Franz Kafka's stuff is pretty good as well. I recommend The Trial and his short stories.

Danielle Steel writes too much.
Same with Clive Cussler and Stephen King.

Stephen King writes eloquently when he doesn't write horror. Though I did like The Shining.

And Steel is a pile.

You only say that because you're not a middle-aged woman.

I assure you that when I grow to be a middle-aged woman I will assert quite the same.

Mm. No one I know has heard of him. I just picked up The Wind Up Bird Chronicle from the bookstore one day because it looked cool. *Shrug*

Good Omens was a pretty good book. Written by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

I always wanted to read Tokyo Doesn't Love Us Anymore. What's it like, Mike?
